I got home late last night and spent all day getting them done, but we now have a new section of the website called X-Training! Last week I spent a few days in Texas breaking my 11th Guinness World Records title and then filming some cross training videos with my good friend, Dennis Rogers. Dennis is a Grand-Master Strongman and one of the strongest men in the world. So what prompted these videos? Let me explain.
While I was training for this last record, I found that I was hitting a wall with my forearm endurance. Since Dennis has such an amazing grip, I thought he would be the best person I could call about some ideas for what I could do to help build up for the hour. I couldn’t have asked anyone better. Dennis gave me a few exercises that helped me really get set for breaking this record. Since I was going to be in Texas, I asked if he would be willing to have me film him teaching me how to do those exercises (and more). He said he would be happy to help out the Gold and Platinum members @ Jump Rope Secrets so we set everything up. We had a blast hanging out for the day and ended up with some great videos that will teach you how to develop your forearm strength. As you watch the videos you can tell this is a guy that knows what he’s talking about. He has a lot of great pointers and ideas that he has developed over his lifetime.
In fact, if you are a student of Strongman history, Dennis is the protege of Slim the Hammer Man who was the direct Protege of the Mighty Atom. These guys were amazing performers and as close to super human as you can get. Dennis shares the knowledge that comes from that pedigree. Check the videos out over at X-Training!
